KSI Swiss

It takes more than quality machines to be successful.  It takes knowledge and support necessary to raise customer’s performance.  The KSI Swiss philosophy was, and still is, to load machines up with as much standard capability as possible and keep them competitively priced.  We want CNC swiss owners that one day may be running simple dowel pins and the next day running complicated medical parts to have the tools they need with their initial investment.

KSI SQCThe SQC series CNC Swiss Automatic is the strongest and most rigid machine in it’s class.  The only thing more impressive than it’s brains (Fanuc 18iTB dual path control) … is it’s brawn (over 9000 lbs).  Designed with the end user in mind, the SQC series features a robust base casting and toolstand that is extremely rigid and thermally stable.  With a minimal footprint and engineered to give the operator maximum accessibility to handle applications from high precision to high productivity.  The SQC will have 9 live mill/drill tools, full c-axis main and sub spindle, and back-end driven tools.

KSI SQX

The SQX Series builds on the success of the SQC platform by offering the same great tool layout, with some additional new features. KSI’s customers asked for upgrades, and they delivered. With a new sheet metal design that allows for greater flexibility when performing routine maintenance, as well as for operator ease, this new model is sure to produce some excitement in the industry.  The SQX 32/38 will be offered with a 10,000 rpm main, and 8,000 rpm sub spindle. The SQX will have 6 OD turning tools, 4 live cross working tools, a 5-tool Y-Axis tool block, as well as back working tools similar to KSI’s SQC series machines.

KSI SM

The SM series is based on a new casting design that allows for several machine sizes to be built using the same smaller footprint. This machine will have all the features of the existing SQC series machines, with an even faster main spindle. The SM20 will be offered with a 10,000 rpm main spindle, and 8,000 rpm sub spindle. This machine will have increased stroke from the SQC’s original 210 mm up to 260 mm. Currently this machine is offered in the 20 mm size only.
