In 1983 Prolink embarked on a mission to write a Statistical Process Control (SPC) software program called QC-CALC™ to interface with various automatic inspection equipment. The need for an easy to use data collection and analysis software was apparent.
Many other SPC packages perform the same analysis functions as QC-CALC, but none offer the automatic database creation that has been our cornerstone. We have listened to customer’s needs and tailored the software accordingly. Our goal is to increase our customer’s awareness of process problems to save them time and money. The key is to obtain the data without adding cost and to report the analysis in a timely manner.

QC-Calc Enterprise is a fully automatic data collection and Statistical Process Control (SPC) software interface for all inspection coordinate measuring machines (CMMs). The automatic database creation, data collection, and data display have been fine-tuned to make the interface so automatic that the graphs just appear. Not one keystroke is needed! When data collection and analysis has to be as simple as possible, QC-CALC is the only logical choice.
QC-CALC Enterprise is a package containing both QC-CALC Real-Time and QC-CALC SPC.
QC-CALC Real-Time is used to collect and display measurement results from all CMMs, Video CMMs, and hand-held gages using QC-Gage without operator intervention. You can create reports and export the data to spreadsheets, databases, and other SPC Programs all automatically. This means you transfer data from all of your measurement machines to any SPC package just by using a single program!
This is the first software program to provide one interface for all machines and one interface for all outputs. Our goal is to make your data collection seamless no matter what equipment you purchase or what SPC program your company uses as a standard. Use QC-CALC Real-Time to print a minimal set of reports you want and/or save your data in any format.
QC-Calc can even help you understand your gaging method. It contains a Gage R&R wizard that steps you through the process of inspecting parts with multiple operators and then can generate a Gage R&R report for easy qualification of your gage process.
Prolink's QC-Gage™ is a full-featured data collection program for use with hand-held gages. Using QC-Gage, quality control managers can create specific measurement requirements for inspection. Inspectors can then use this information as a guideline during inspections.
During the inspection process, the inspector can enter measurement data by keyboard or through a direct connection to one or more gages. QC-Gage displays this data both graphically and in table form. In addition, it can automatically interface with Prolink's industry leading QC-CALC™ Statistical Process Control software for data charting, analysis, and manipulation.
