For over 30 years, Renishaw has been an innovator in metrology, the science of measurement, enabling measurements to be taken to international standards.

The company's first product, the touch-trigger probe had been invented by David McMurtry, now Sir David McMurtry, Chairman and Chief Executive, to solve a specific inspection requirement for the Olympus engines used on Concorde. The first Renishaw company was established in 1973 by him and John Deer, now Deputy Chairman. This innovative product went on to revolutionize post-process inspection of machined components.

	Renishaw has developed a Manually Indexible Probe Head the MH20i to provide those with a manual machine or those on a tighter budget the flexibility of multiple positions of the probe tip without the need for re-calibration between changes. This design pulls from the very successful and reliable PH9 /PH10 probe head series.

Renishaw's versatile PH10 / TP20 combination provides the flexibility to more accurately measure your part because it can better position to provide the best contact angle with your part. Coupled with the MCR20 stylus changer this combination can provide numerous combinations that can all be interchanged automatically, allowing for more thru put.

	The next level of CMM probing solutions the SP25 scanning probe provides continuous contact measurement capabilities that capture hundreds more points in just seconds, allowing for more accurate, and more complete data on the measured part.

	The next Generation in CMM probing technologies is here. Introducing REVO. This probing system provides for extremely fast thru put of data collection. The probe system is actively adjusting so the tip can stay in contact with the part. The probe head is motorized and can scan the part even with the CMM sitting still.
